Inspiration: Okay . . . winter is not quite gone yet. It got cold this weekend.  But I kind of like this weather because I can mix all of my clothes together regardless of the season for which it was intended. Much like Taghrid Chaaban in these photos -- layered sweaters with bright red cotton pants, feet with no tights in sparkly Miu Mius.

Inspiration: I took this photo last September but it is so evocative of Spring (especially Elisa's candy colored shoes).  So I find it totally apropos to post it now, just as Springtime emerges.

Inspiration: Another kind of street fashion. It's not for everyone. Indeed, it may work only on its wearer, Wendell. But I love the inventiveness of the whole look -- especially his hat and collar.  FYI: Wendell sews each item of his outfits himself!

Dramatic Brows

Inspiration: This morning, I am wondering how she make her brows so perfectly symmetrical? A stencil? A tatoo? In any case, they are quite dramatic.

Inspiration: If you watch Project Runway Allstars, then you undoubtedly recognize Joanna Coles.  She's the "Tim Gunn" of the show.  Oh . . . She's also the Editor in Chief of Marie Claire.

The Yeti Coat Revisited

Inspiration: The Yeti Coat is probably the most ubiquitous thing I saw during NYFW. I should have worn mine!  But sometimes my coat (well, it's a long vest) indimidates me -- it's fun but so consuming.

Miroslava Duma

Inspiration: Miroslava Duma is clearly and squarely a part of the pantheon of style mavens. Love her friends sweater too! Black and white photo right here.

Inspiration: Blast from the past (well, a past that was only 5 months ago, but in fashion time, so "last season").  In any event, I still want those yellow sunnies.
