New York: Lower East Side
Inspiration: This is the second time I've seen something like this (here's a photo of the first time). Since the first time, I've learned that this kind of urban knitting/crocheting is a form of graffiti or street art. At first I thought: "Wow. Someone has way too much time on his/her hands". But if I think of this as artistic expression (which it is), then it makes sense that someone would take the time to create and display this crocheted bike. It's no different from an artist taking months to create a painting or me taking precious hours out of my busy weeks to create photographs. So please enjoy this unique piece of art!
