Inspiration: I am not generally a fan of plaid. But I do love her jacket . . . maybe because the plaid print is muted and plummy color is so pretty. And I can never resist a double breasted jacket. For a black and white portrait, check out The Photodiarist.

It's great to see the colors of her outfit, but I prefer the black and white portrait. There's way more "mood" in that shot than this one. This one works as a fashion shot, though.

It's the cut. I think the reason you like this particular jacket is because of the cut. Look at the way it fits her body. She must have had it altered. Superb!
