Inspiration: I simply must photograph someone who loves leopard as much as (or more than) I do.  Check out The Photodiarist for the black and white version.

The Minimalist

New York: 66th and Columbus

Inspiration: I was attracted to her minimalist uniform accompanied by a tiny but potent pop of color.

Pleated

New York: Lincoln Center

Inspiration: This is one of my fashion week photos . . . no doubt you've seen her a hundred times already. I think that she's a stylist. In any event, I think that the the item of her clothing that captured most people's attention was probably her pleated skirt.  I wonder if it's leather or waxed cotton? I love it.

Vested

New York: Thompson and W. Houston

Inspiration:  There are a few things I love about her look. The first is her furry vest. "Vintage" she said. But more than the vest, I love the mellowness of her color mix - light gray paired with both soft and rich creams. 

The Individualist, Pt. 2

Inspiration: Some follow trends, some mix it up a bit and then others follow with confidence, whether "in" or "out", their own sense of individual style.

Mens' Fashion: The Mix

Inspiration: I am switching it up a bit on The Photodiarist -- mixing up NYFW photos with my normal every day life photos. On the this blog, however, I'll continue to post NYFW photos until I run out of good ones to show you. Fashion Week is best expressed in color anyway.

Mens' Fashion: Military

New York: Lincoln Center

Inspiration: The Military look. It's a trend, like leopard prints, khakis, denim and anything black, that never really fades . . . never goes out of style. I used to have an old navy peacoat that I found in a thrift shop while in college. That was another item that I wore until its demise.
