Inspiration: For ages I've wanted to visit Capri. It did not disappoint. These are only a small sampling of photographs as I haven't had the time to go through all of them as yet. Only a half hour by boat from Positano, Capri is a shopper's haven. And I mean high-end. Prada, Dolce & Gabanna, Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hermes, Tods, Missoni and so on. I limited myself to one pair of Prada sandals that were on sale. I decided to indulge only a little bit when in Capri as I'd already purchased a pair of Missoni sandals (also on sale) in Positano the day before as well as a couple of beautiful rings. Maybe I'll post a photo or two later on of my little goodies. Sometimes, I lose my shopping mind on vacation (since in that moment I feel so far from reality that I start to think that my credit card is some sort of magic wand or something - that is until I get home and an enormous bill arrives two weeks later). I was determined to keep my head about me this time. Just being here is a luxury by itself. Amalfi and Ravello are on the agenda today. I've heard Ravello is spectacular. Ciao.
Swipe that thing until the sun go down.
Worry about the bill later.
One life to live, notice you get no sequel.
Don't listen to me, I'm a bad influence.

NO! enjoy, but don't give yourself weeks of stress of worrying about bills. Spend money on gorgeous in season food instead, nowhere better than in Italy.

You know... I never go on shopping spree when I'm on vaca. But as Cat Alberts says, most money I spent on food. Lol, I get so greedy to try all the local stuff. But sounds like you bought some pretty neat stuff. Do show!! :p Can't help it that I'm so nosy...
Back to your photos. These are so wonderful! Looks like a little piece of paradise.

My favorite souvenirs from my travels are shoes! With an occasional ring thrown in as well. You are my kind of traveler.

The white church against the sky, the bougainvillea against the white and blue . . . absolutely breathtaking. I've wanted to visit Capri for ages . . . and when I do, I think I need the nyanzi report to go shopping with me!
