Inspiration: Bravery. The kind that it takes to step out of the house rocking a pink pinstriped suit and matching fedora. Confidence. The kind that one needs to carry this overwhelming pinkness as though it belonged in a boardroom.
Inspiration: The iconic fashion risk-taker, Hamish Bowles, who graciously allowed me to take a few photos while we were both standing in line at a refreshment kiosk in the park.
Inspiration: The "back door" of the tent was Central Station for fashion bloggers and celebrity watchers. I enjoyed watching the bloggers and watchers more than the models and celebrities.
Inspiration: Even though fall is near, I love her fresh, white look with a touch of apple green. It's hard to see in this picture, but even her glasses matched the hue of her stockings.
Inspiration: As fashionistas and their followers gathered under and around the tents at Bryant Park for NYC fashion week, the rest of the city went about its business not giving a hoot about Derek Lam's short shorts, DVF's amazing new prints and Preen's puffy, ruffly dresses.
Inspiration: One of my favorite colors. For some reason, I am challenged when it comes to wearing 100% bright color. When I add a brilliant hue to my outfit, it's always paired with a neutral one. With her sunny hair, I think that she carries these colors well.
