New York: From the Air
Inspiration: I have been a busy busy bee lately . . . albeit a busy bee who's been grossly negligent about posting on my blog! When I neglect my blog, I feel like I am abandoning a good friend and I feel terrible! In any event, I've been working on a number of projects and flying around the place. Here are a few photos from one of my flights to (or from) New York.
New York: Gramercy Park
Inspiration: All week long, weather people told us about another Lionesque Noreaster that would slam New York. Yet every morning I woke up to clean streets. I lugged my snow boots to work all week having been previously caught in a storm with only heels to get me home. Well . . . on Friday morning we finally saw snow. But by Friday at lunch time, it was gone!

Inspiration: This was taken only a week ago, but this Friday couldn't be more different from last Friday. It was 50 degrees farenheit today!

Inspiration: Frankly, we got lucky in Manhattan. For the first real snowstorm of this winter season, Storm Nemo delivered Manhattan just enough snow to create beautiful photos and lots of fun but not so much as to be devastating. That said, I cannot speak for the outer boroughs or Connecticut, certain parts of which received 30 whopping inches of snow!

Inspiration: I took this quite by accident. But when I saw the result of my over-exposed, slow motion, wide open aperture shot, I liked it.

Inspiration: I found this photo in my archives of unposted photographs this evening. It's two years old but I still like it. There's something cool about those beams of light hitting the water!

Inspiration: The past two mornings have been unseasonably warm and misty . . . But quite beautiful. On another note, have I mentioned that I've seen John Galliano working out with a trainer in my gym three times now? The first time saw him, I thought it was a guy who looked eerily like JG. But now, this morning, after seeing him inches away from me, I know for sure. I've read he is in town working with Oscar De la Renta. I really hope the rest of the fashion cognoscenti relent and allow this genius back into the fold.
