New York: Washington Square Park
Inspiration: As soon as I spotted her wandering through Washington Square Park wearing a vintage sweater dress, really chic tortoise shell glasses and a fabulous top knot, I wanted to photograph her. I am finding myself drawn more and more to vintage pieces these days . . . While I do shop quite a bit at consignment stores in the city (Ina, Roundabout and A Second Chance), it's taken me a while to get on the serious "vintage" bandwagon. In any event, when I see people wearing vintage looks well and keeping it modern while retaining some of the original style, it's inspiring. For a totally cool vintage experience, check out one of my favorite bloggers - Nadia Sarwar of FrouFrouu.

Beautiful black and white photographs - especially the last portrait. The color photos are stunning too.

The first photo is particularly gorgeous to me - the way she's looking back and holding her dress gives the photo a movie-still quality. Also, I like this fashion-y direction you are taking lately - mixed in with your more usual street shots. Keep it up.

Great photo & subject.
I'm obsessed with vintage. AND it's perfect for this economy, right?! I LOVE Nadia's blog too, she's got such an incredible sense of style.

Great dress! The flashy colors in the color photos are doing it for me though. But the first photo looks great in b&w. Nice spotting.

i'm into vintage, too- now more than ever. i've always liked to reinterpret styles, make the unexpected seem fresh and new.
she has done justice to the sweater dress by wearing it with kick-ass shoes and...hey, is that a classic coach bag? i do believe it is. great style she has, and good for you, spotting her.

The first tell really a story, I love how you captured her.
And the light is so beautiful, the ground is completely white,
it's like a part of dream in reality...
