Inspiration: I was on my way to meet him on 42nd Street when I was inspired to take this photo once again. I say this because I've taken the Chrysler Building reflected before (go here). This time around, it was dusk and I had only my point and shoot Canon G10. As a result, the whole bottom of the photo came out utterly underexposed. But I love that about the photo.

I joined bloglovin'. Thanks for the tip!
By the way, I absolutely adore this photo. Keep it up!

Excellent image. Completely agree about the underexposed area - it flips between being positive and negative space which makes the image very dynamic. Though I haven't left comments, I've enjoyed your recent series from your holiday - many stunning images.

Sean Scully's work is what springs to mind when I look at this.

This pic is fantastic. All lines and angles. And as I said before I like dark pics more.

This is one of those photos which makes me desperately think ... "Why can't I take a shot like that?" Amazingly awesome for me! :)

Oh I'm finally back and I finally managed to see your shoots, they are just WONDERFUL! I must say I prefer more the coloured ones, it's just for the sunny atmosphere they've got it's just magical! The night panorama pictures are breath-takingly beautiful and okay, I'm gonna stop with complimenting, I could go on for hours!:D But from the black&white ones I liked the one you liked the most too, the villa in Ravello, just lovely!
Take care;)

I must say, this shoot here though is somehow refreshing and the fact that it's underexposed makes it more artistical.. like it a lot.

I like it too. It makes it more abstract.

Darker, more misterious, the feeling of loneliness is stronger...
