New York: Union Square
Inspiration: I took these photos almost two months ago. I posted a color version in The Photodiarist in Color on the day that I took them but forgot to post the black and white photos on The Photodiarist. I love this series because she showed a subtle range of emotions in the space of a few moments.
yeah, that's wonderful.

Love that hat! Now if only I can find a reason to wear one. It never gets that cold here.

Love it, the texture of the hat and the beautiful girl. Did you ask her before taking her picture (my question is did she pose for you or not...)?

Thanks everyone. Carole - In this case, I did not ask her and she didn't pose. Union Square is usually filled with people, including lots of people with cameras. So I think that people aren't surprised to see others snapping photos.

Great series of photos! She seems very anxious/impatient, waiting around can be pretty boring and frustrating.

Thanks. Even in such crowded place as Union Square I feel terribly self conscious when I start shooting people. Funny. I don't complain though, because you do such a great job, you're so good at this!
