Absolutely.
There have been some fascinating shows here (that probably won't make it to the states: all you get from the UK is the X factor & America's got talent) on art, and the constant question is 'what makes something art?' and I really do think the answer lies in the space between the object made by one person and the person viewing it.
Or in the case of music, it's the space between the source of the music, and the musician, and the listener.
I love how you included the sax player in the shot but focused on the audience of one.
Just left an equally long reply to your hilarious comment, but on the same post.
Lovely shot. And I love the trilogy made up of the girl, oblivious to the moment, focused on her sandwich.

p.s. In light of your comment: there are banging sounds coming from another room. It's not yet 10:00 a.m. and Mr. Dot, who has suddenly in the past few months decided to become a conceptual artist, is banging rusty nails into a canvas. He has been 'growing rust' in a bowl.

Wonderful story in a photograph. Let's not be too hard on the sandwich eater. She's probably there for the music too. She's just enjoying two things at once!
