Absolutely stunning photos! The birds on the beach shot, the buildings, the boats...everything...amazing!

Looooove the birds.
If you liked Stephane's photos, you can also check on Alain, another French (and friend) http://www.alainetchepare.com/galerie/selections.php?lang=en
You might enjoy it, Alain lives in France and Turkey and is a great photographer (in my humble opinion)

well said, photodiarist- couldn't agree more.
beaches are where i always feel comfortable. being surrounded by them may have something to do with that. :)

1st and last are just perfect. morocco seems such a wonderful place; thank you so much for sharing it!

lots of great posts lately! a beach feel so far away here in the cold dark north, so thanks for reminding me of summer :)

Aurore - A great big thank you!
B - Thanks again! Cannot wait to for you to get to Japan so that we can hear all about it.
Carole - I just checked out Alaine's work. Wonderfully moody and intense. He really uses grain and contrast well. Very intense work, I think.
Stephanie - I spent my earliest years in a beach town and will never forget it. The beach is in my blood, but after coming from the Atlas mountains today (and going back to a different part tomorrow), I am now a mountain gal too.
Jules: Thank you. The first and fifth shots are my favorite.
Minimodi - Anytime, my friend . . . anytime. I am heading back to New York soon - where it is totally dark by 5:00 pm. As much as I love my city, I never ever enjoy the winters there.

fabulous wonderful gorgeous shots!! obviously you know how i feel about the beach ; ) in fact i've forgotten all about my other blog, like the neglected middle child.. must post more beach shots asap!
i was wondering, actually, how you'd manage to shoot morrocco in black & white (and speaking of neglecting blogs, note to self: MUST check out your colour one!) but you've posted some gorgeous shots (did i say that already?)
my favourites are the top shot - the light on his bag & body are so perfect, so sculptural - and the birds/boats/church sequence. the relationship of each shot to each other.
hope you're having a magical morrocan thanksgiving week. it certainly looks so. and oh, i'm very much a mountain girl, too! the best of both worlds are places that have both.
xoxo

love those seagulls, especially the beach shot can't help but admired the reflections. The rasta man is a nice shot as well.

The Rastafarian on the beach reminds me of Jamaica. He seems so relaxed yet so intently looking at the scenery.

How true about how the beach is familiar where ever you go. Love the shots.
