I am The Photodiarist. This blog contains photos of people and things that inspire me or capture my interest on any given day. Unless otherwise indicated, all photographs shown here have been taken and processed by me.
I live in New York, so most of these shots document every day moments in my city. I have a few favorite haunts, which are reflected time and time again in my photos. If you stick around, you will see.
I am not a professional photographer. Just a girl with a camera (or two or three) who's always loved to write, take pictures and people-watch.
I use Canon digital cameras and lenses. My equipment includes a 1ds Mark II, a 5d Mark II, several prime lenses and a few zoom lenses. Oh . . . and a nifty Canon G10 point and shoot. For photo processing, I use a MacBook Pro and Adobe Lightroom. Even with all this equipment, the most important instruments in my arsenal are my eyes.
One more very important thing: Unless otherwise stated, all of the photographs shown in this blog have been taken by me, are copyrighted by me, and therefore belong to me. I have no problem with the use of my photographs in blogs and websites so long as (a) I am properly credited as the photographer and (b) I receive an email letting me know that my work is being used or featured. My email address is: [email protected].
Thank you!
