Inspiration: Welcome to New York Fashion Week Fall 2011. Today I went to my second fashion show ever. And it was a good one. Luca Luca baby! My darling boyfriend knows how much I love fashion, so he snagged one ticket for me. Not quite sure how he did it as the show was absolutely packed . . . but what a great Valentine's Day gift! I found myself in the seventh row of the first quadrant near the top of the runway. I brought my 70-200mm lens, so I wasn't too handicapped even though there were many heads in front of me. I took quite a few images, so I will post more from this show (and it will be my only show this season) tomorrow.

Wow, such gorgeous photos! I do really miss out when I don't see the detailing on the clothes, I hadn't thought much of the Luca Luca show, but after seeing your pics, I've certainly changed my mind :) And how sweet of your boyfriend too!!! xx

Waw! But that's awesome too!
Your fashion photography is definitely great! I don't known if it's the black background that make the photo so impactive... and the colors so bright..., I don't known, it's the all thing.

I just tell you one thing (after my over-excited reaction to your B&W pics): I've never, never seen such beautiful runway pics. I write it black on white and I mark it with my signature.
Not even Vogue or Elle, and blog-wise not even Jack & Jil, Garance Doré and the like...
I am not totally saying it to please you, I really think so. You've got something special. They make me want to run home, take my sketch book and start to paint: they are inspiration and beauty 100%

PS: have you already tried to propose your work to a fashion magazine? I don't even know if you're interested in that, but still...

Now that's what I'm talking about! After several minutes of open-mouthed gasps,IAM SPEECHLESS! Simply speechless.
You, my friend, are, to put it simply, very very talented and your eye is incredible at picking out the best angles to show off the garment.
"Can someone please put this girl on the front row!"

Ah this is awesome! I love these shots in colour! The shades are so vibrant! And that skirt that looks like leaves... so perfectly Autumnal! Yikes! I love this. Can't wait to follow NYFW through your blog and see what everyone is wearing! Beautiful beautiful images. xx

That first photo is my favourite from that show. I love the red outfit mixed in with the grey coat.
I wanted to get a better look at that jacket and now I see it. Thank you.
I hope you get more invites in the future.
Great shots!

how sweet he is!!! is not it best to have a bf who just know how to make you happy?? seriously, the runway photos are so hard to take - especially considering you are actually taking it from audience seat - it is brilliant how good you captured the color.
I was just thinking this morning when i look through style.com - and thought to myself the lighting could be better for the images as I can hardly see details on darker garments ... and then, i see yours!!! soooo good, xx

Oh beautiful in both colour and B/W. You have great shots here. I love that they are silhouetted against a black background. You are good. Xxxx
