OOOH! I'm glad you said I 'must' see him in colour, as I was gazing at the black and white version and thinking how beautiful the shot was, the way his hat and glasses were in focus and worked so well with the blended background... but this is like stepping into the Land of Oz, and I'm Dorothy.
That's so cool that he won't let anyone shoot him and yet he engages with you. You clearly respect everyone's humanity. If only everyone thought like you do.
