Inspiration: Gramercy Park is a gated private park (one of two in the city). Only people in buildings surrounding the park have the right to keys. I am not one of them. It is one of the prettiest little gardens one could imagine (as far as I can tell from the outside), especially during the Spring. Whenever I walk by with my camera, I snap photographs of blooming flowers through the bars of the iron fence surrounding the park. This is one of them.

I love it how there is a story behind every photo, it makes viewing the photo a whole different experience... from that photo i dont just see a flower, i see a tree and a park and a sunny day and people hustling and bustling about. I visited New York for the first time last year and since then i've been looking for photo blogs on everyday NY life.. yours is just that. love it.
