New York: Union Square
Inspiration: As I relaxed in the crowded square enjoying the beautiful weather, I saw a flash of purple, the movement of a furry vest and the highlights of the sun in the background. I captured three photos, one of which I've posted on The Photodiarist. But this one captured her somewhat pensive mood best, which contrasts starkly with the exuberance of the guy in the background.

Oh wow... although I do very much admire your B&W photos... colours makes me happy drunk!
This woman has a regal [albeit sad?] air about her anyway but the purple just adds to it. The backlight too. Beautiful.
