Vienna, Austria: Hofburg Palace
Inspiration: The winter residence of one of the most poweful families in European history: The Hapsburg dynasty. I think I need a castle or a palace with hundreds of rooms for my winter residence. Alas, my five room apartment will have to do.

I do love a good gradient of light such as the one you captured above. From the sunlight on the dome to the deep darkness of the gate and the shadows beneath the statues - this picture really captures the light well!
