Inspiration: My iPhone has been producing quite a few dramatic shots . . . like this one of the Supreme Court of France as seen from across the river with the sun setting right behind it -- Eiffel Tower to the extreme right. Tomorrow is my last full day in Paris. On Saturday, I head to Florence. I haven't been there in 9 years, so I am looking forward to seeing it again. Even so, I will be so sad to leave Paris and my gorgeous, perfectly situated and well appointed apartment, which has become a home to me this week! Note to self and everyone else: Unless one is staying in Paris for less than a week or visiting Paris for the first time, always rent an apartment! So much more comfortable, enjoyable and cost effective!

Hard to believe it's from an iPhone. Beautiful shot! (And totally agree. I very often rent an apartment on most trips 4 days or more. You get a real feel for the city, among the locals, rather than the tourists.)

Yes, you have to rent an apartment, this is the way to do it.
Have fun in gorgeous Firenze!
