Bologna, Italy: One of many streets on which I found myself . . .
Inspiration: I have lots of Paris Fashion Week photos to share, but hanging out at PFW comprised a very small part of my trip. After spending a week in Paris (much of which, I must admit, was spent away from the fashion shows), I went to Italy, making a short stop in Bologna. Everywhere I went in Bologna I found columns. So much so that I couldn't tell one street from another. So I just allowed myself to get lost and take pictures.

Great as always! Nice contrast!

They are the "portici"!! I don't know if there is actually a perfect translation of the word in english... Covered walkways? Arcades?
They're almost everywhere in Bologna and the inhabitants of the city use to say "in Bologna it never rains" because thanks to the portici you almost never need an umbrella!
Bologna is one of my favorite cities in Italy, quite close to my hometown too... I hope you loved it!
Your picture is great!
