New York: Lincoln Center
Inspiration: It's weird, this feeling I am having about NYFW. Unlike previous seasons, I am kind of anxious about it. Thoughts like these keep meandering through my head: "Will I be able to get away from work to go up to Lincoln Center? Will I get good photos this year? Will there be so many people that I won't be able to get a good vantage point? Will my camera (or most likely my fingers) get all twisted again when I see Anna Wintour?" Then I tell myself: "Seriously? I mean seriously! This stuff is not that serious so CHILL OUT!" And then two seconds later: "Will my card get damaged again so that I lose 300 potentially awesome shots?" Psycho brain -- shut up!
You have already lost many shots on your card? it's such a shame!! I am always affraid about this, especially when I take a big card.
I have been in NY recently, and Boston and Canada, and in one day, I took 700 pictures of New York. That's why I decided to buy an other card. and I took a 16Go memory. It's great! But when I put it on my computer to download the photos, it's going sooo slowly... and generally, my computer bugs.. and on the screen of my computer, it's written: your card is empty... Hopefully not, but, maybe, one day, I will lose all of my picts......
Don't be so anxious for the NYFW, you always take great pictures. You've got such a great talent. So.. no worries! Just be patient!

I can so relate, PD: everyone - unless they're a psychopath - gets anxious about fashion week. The only time I didn't was the first time, because I didn't expect anything and was so overwhelmingly, pleasantly surprised.
It is the nature of the beast. It's not just you. Treat yourself to a spare card. With you in spirit and hope you just have fun. Can't wait to see the results: I'm not following NYFW, actually, except on your blog. So no pressure there ; )
