Inspiration: I went out with my camera and no particular subject in mind. What did I end up with? A bunch of shadows. Seriously. This is only the first of a few shots depicting the shadows of things. That said, I do love the geometric lines and the patterns formed by rows of buildings with rows of emergency stairs and wideness of my 35mm (I've been carrying the 70-200 forever, so I got used to a certain kind of "wide").

These are great! Love fire escape geometry, especially made doubly interesting by their equally geometric shadows! (I think I need to get a wide angle lens too :D )

Oh, we are so much alike. For the last few months I've been fascinated with shadows, unfortunatly my cameras focus and I always tend to disagree with each other.

This is probably the safest building to stay in with a fire escape system like that. That’s a great shot, by the way. The gray scale effect added a lot of drama to that photo. =)
