Happy New Year Photodiarist! You have become one of my favorite blogs ever over the last few months of 2010. I look forward to seeing your 2011 photos. As for this photograph -- I love it. The building looks like writing in the sky with light (which is, I suppose, the essence of term photography!)

Thank you everyone! Happy New Year to all of you and thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy New Year PD! Good to hear from you, glad you're back safely (next time please let me know - I know how quickly a visit can go by but hey, I'll meet you at Heathrow to say hi if you'd like!)
You certainly are having a very productive 2011 so far. Hope the dinner came out well. I always say this but it's so true: you really do remind me of me when I was in NY. I remember having a kitchen, but I don't actually recall using it.

Ah one of my favorite buildings. NY has such a different vibe from England !
Happy New Year to you, all the best for 2011!

Carole: My fave building too! As for London vs. New York, you are so right! As big as it is, London is a quiet relaxing place to me compared to New York. Good, bad or ugly, New York's energy is a barely controlled wildness. I love it.

sweet shot!
what better image to symbolise the start of a new decade other than this one.
happy new year.
