England: Stonehenge, County of Wilshire
Inspiration: I love visiting places that once occupied my childhood imagination. Stonehenge is one of those places. I once believed this iconic monument was erected by thousands of fairies who carried the stones and planted them in each spot. Having seen Stonehenge finally, I now know quite certainly that fairies had nothing to do with it. Nevertheless, it is still quite magnificent - especially surrounded by remains of last week's snowfall.
P.S. I've been reading about the mad, crazy snow in covering New York. Around two feet, I've heard. Wish I was there to document that sight!

I've never seen stonehenge photographed like that. I like it. And too bad you can't photograph NY covered in the snow. Maybe when you get back. Have a happy time there! xxx

VERY unique POV of 'the henge' as the parents of my close friend call it (who live in Salisbury). Yep, you are missing a tonne of snow just south of us here in Kingston...and we hardly have anything to show for winter except the dropping temp.

I remember making the circular pilgrimage around Stonehenge - great to see it in the snow.

ohhhhh, I went to Stonehenge when I was 11 or 12! brings back some memories, I so much miss England.
