New York: Lincoln Center
Inspiration: I wear these types of shorts to the gym and out running in the summer. I've never seen a "fashion" element in them before I photographed this girl. Now, I am not saying I would wear my running shorts with high wedge heels, but somehow, when this girl did it, it worked.
P.S. It's practically November and I could have dressed like this today without any problem. What is up with the weather? I cannot believe I am saying this but . . . where's that Canadian cold front already?
I love it when someone takes ordinary clothes & turns it into a fashion statement.

What a gorgeous look! It's funny, 'track shorts' are probably the one item, if asked, I'd say would be impossible to style well and yet she's pulled it off.
Is it really that hot in NY? Maybe there's some truth to this 'global warming' concept.
Love how you set these kind of shots by the way: bleaching out the background. You could, and should, do the most amazing fashion shoots.

Hi again - in reply to your comment (thank you btw) re: the skirt, you have such a strong power of observation. I thought I did, too, but I didn't notice the skirt pattern didn't match up.
I remember noticing that in Harvey Nichols, looking at an Alexander McQueen dress last year (while he was alive). I remember thinking, I can see if it's cheap clothes, but for designer clothes - especially in this case on the catwalk - you'd think there would be more attention to detail.

YEah it's very hot here in LA too. we had a few days of rain(?!?!?) a few weeks ago, and now it's back to summer. I love when people take clothes in a unexpected context. sometimes like here, it's both pretty and interesting.
