Inspiration: I love wearing hoods. They are practical, mysterious and romantic at the same time. Essential for cold or rainy weather, and when paired with a pair of shades, perfect for dodging people that you just don't want to see at any given moment. Yeah, I know. I have a wee bit of an anti-social streak running through my veins. Just a wee bit.

Yes, the hood is fantastic (I want to own it, in fact), but the freckles caught my attention first. Is that strange?

@Bianca: That's cool, I think, that you focused on her freckles. Your comment made me focus on them too.

I am a big hoodie fan myself! It can give a casual vibe to an otherwise girly or preppy outfit, which I love...

I like the layering she's done. I love hoods too, specially on bad hair days!

Love hoods too.
She looks like a modern madonna (eyes, head...)

Beautiful expression !
Her look is great, "mysterious and romantic" I really agree.
It's good for winter and if she want to pass unnoticed in the middle of people,
as a shade which waves streets...
Unknow person among the unknown persons.

Love the layering and the intricacies of the fabric of the hood, even in b/w, they look super.

I really love the dreamy faraway look in her eyes, definitely a mysterious and romantic.

I love hoods too. However in this country they have had a lot of bad press. I love her hood and the layering. Xxxx

I love the simplicity of the shot, a hood which can be seen as some sort of threat is causally teamed with the grest style staple trench.

Hoods are great for all the reasons you mention - plus, I guess in NY one sometimes needs a place to get away.

That hood is fantastic, so is the lady. Great shot!

Did you see some shots I got from the Jaeger show? They had a model with a separate hood - just a yellow slicker hood. I want that hood! It would be so much better than carrying around an umbrella (which are useless anyway in London: the rain is usually more like mist).
My favourite clothing item is a plain beige hooded waterproof parka from my sister in law: I usually carry it around just in case.
Great shot - as always. (It's raining here today btw). xo

Love the expression of her face. The hood is such a good "frame" for her face!
