Inspiration: It was a treat to meet Tziporah Salamon. She's the daughter of a dressmaker and a tailor, so from an early age, Tziporah was surrounded by the art of creating and wearing clothing. In this portrait photograph, she's wearing vintage Chinese from the 1800s. To fully appreciate this outfit, however, you simply must go to The Photodiarist in Color. I insist!

what a great portrate

Excellent portraiture.
I gotta say though, the coloured version is superb! You get to see the truth of her outfit.

@Robert: Thank you!
@The Nyanzi Report: I totally agree. The B&W version doesn't really hold a candle to the color one.

OMFG I love this. I didn't know her but wow! for some reason i prefer the portrait in b&w, although i'm sure it was great to see her live in color!

I just love this. For some one to get out of the house in the morning dressed up like that means that they are convinced about what they are doing. They are creative and are ready to show it. They might look funny in some cases but I admire their self confidence. Great shot

I love how you get right up there and take the picture. I could never get a shot like that. you just expand on someones quarkyness, or raddness, what is unique to them and celebrate it. :) I LOVE her glasses!

She is so unique!
It's only one style.
