Inspiration: As I was making my way out of Central Park a couple of days ago, I heard a beautiful violin-like sound coming from the sun-dappled area where I usually hear a guy playing the sax. Indeed, this gentleman was playing an erhu, an ancient Chinese two-string instrument, while the sun was beginning its descent for the evening.

the lighting on his face is beautiful.. what a scene!

Endingidi...try saying that...haha.
That's the name we call this instrument in my mother tongue. It produces the most enchanting of music. Things get a little bit crazy when it's twinned with drums.
Thanks for posting this. That reminds me, I have to call my mother...bye. Have a great day.

This is stunning. The man looks so zen. I love the street musicians that play these- there is one in the Lorimer Street Station off the L almost every weekday morning. I used to have to go through there to get the school, and it always calmed me down when I was waiting for the train.

So love the light in this picture. I have never heard the sound an erhu. It must have been very nice.
