Inspiration: When I was wondering around the LES not too long ago, this gentleman asked me what I was doing. I guess I stood out with my camera hanging around my neck. I told him I was just taking pictures of people and things I found interesting. Then he said: "You can take a picture of me . . . if you find me interesting . . . and if you don't charge me." How could I resist that invitation. Especially after looking into his eyes.

So New York! I love it.

i love this shot. this person seems curious and wise and you managed perfectly to capture it. At least those were my first impressions the moment I saw this photograph. Absolutely great!
