New York: Washington Square Park
Inspiration: I haven't worn my hair in two pigtails since I was . . . ? Well, since I was really really small because I cannot remember the last time. My failsafe hairstyle (once the blow-out blows out) is, without fail: (i) one ponytail (not pigtail); (ii) placed in the middle of the back of my head or at the nape of my neck (the side ponytail looks too contrived for me - like the other tail went missing); (iii) using a black or brown ponytail band (absolutely no scrunchies or colorful bands); (iv) with the ponytail part wrapped in and around the band.
Despite my pigtail prejudice, I loved hers. So much so that that I tried it last night. Unfortunately, my pigtails sucked. The key to hers seems to be thick (but not too), long hair. My hair is thick but not really long (just past my shoulder blades). Because I couldn't achieve her loose braids, my version ended up looking like pigtails of the 8 year old kind. Back to my unassailable ponytail . . . pronto.

Very nice photo!
I will be very happy if someone take a photo of me like this.

Sounds like a surgeon's manual of how to do a ponytail- photodiarist style.
Gotta love it.
I called my sister to read this and afterwards she gave me free rein on her hair which I must say is a rarity for a female to give this big head brother of hers,-(let's just say she lost a bet and this was payment. The expression on her face was worth a million bucks).
It turned out a proper mess-(my five year old niece was in stitches). Thank you for providing me with this entertainment.
Back to the picture, I love it when you shoot people, there's a certain je ne sais quoi about the pictures that captures their essence.
Keep it up.

I wear my hair down since, forever. When I do wear my hair up, it's in something like a careless bun. When I go out for a run it's the same like you described above. Two pigtails like that is too cute for me, I guess... doesn't fit my personality :O
But she looks good, and I like the effect of the fountain water in the bag. Pretty..
