Inspiration: Home again. I've actually been back since Monday but only today have I really come home from vacation. This weekend, however, we are heading out to the Hamptons to spend the weekend with BFF, her man and their baby boy. So I suspect I will come back with more wide-angle beach scenes and tons of baby photos of the little dude. Thereafter, I will be back to photographing the streets of Manhattan.

This blog is so original and well put together. I really love it. Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes from one blogger to another,
~Zabrinah

Oh, I look forward to your Hamptons photos. This is a beautiful shot, it's so sharp and the boy in it adds dreaminess to the photo.
p.s. I love seeing these streetscenes from NY, because I always see it in the movies. NY seems like a great city to live in :)

What really caught my eye in this picture is the shadow of the wheel under the carriage. Love it.
Your weekend plans sound great.

This carriage is absolutely beautiful. And in black and white, I have the impression to be 40 years earlier...
Love the spirit of this shot

I wonder what the young guy in the carriage is thinking. Is he enjoying the ride or not? Looking forward to seeing the Hamptons. Xxxx

Oooh I love this!
Looks like a scene from a Scorsese film.
Everything about it is superb, the shadow that San pointed out is incredible.
Well spoted.

@San: I love how you see the same things that I do. I loved that warped shadow of the wheel!! Little things like that make a photo for me.

The picture is really good. It's the boredom the child exudes which impresses me!

Central Park is such a great escape from he craziness of the city. Catching moments of reflection is like being invited into a secret space. Thank you for sharing.
