New York: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Inspiration: I took this photograph on Sunday evening at close of a street fair in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Everyone was packing up to go and people walked all around him and over him, but he remained oblivious. Fortunately for this rockabye dude-guy, this portion of the road was still cordoned off and, for that moment, free from vehicular traffic.
Whoa, he got some nerves, trust in other people or is seriously drunk.

Haha, Great Title! Man, looking at these and some of your previous photos... New Yorkers really don't give a damn about sleeping in public. I have never seen it anywhere than of your photos, lol! For me, this is kinda a weird sight, I'm not used to this kind of behaviour here. Very unique... Have a great week! x

Such a unique shot! But was he really sleeping on the road?? and where do this rectangular of grass come from, in the middle of the road?

Jennifer - he is sleeping in the road but a part of the road that was blocked off from traffic for the street fair. The grass came from one of the booths at the fair - they had a little lawn set up where people sat around. But well after they packed up and rolled up all of the lawn but this piece, this guy remained fast asleep!

In Kindergarden we had to bring "nap mat's" something to sleep on. Took me FOREVER to choose my special "nap mat". this photo totally reminds me of that. Like he brought the grass to sleep on..... nap mat :) you see the raddest stuff!
