The first shot is a visual treat.. it really looks like a painting rather than a photo of a painted face :)

those shots are amaazing

It's crasy to see the difference between color and white & black. In B&W, you could imagine this girl is a member of a tribe who visit NYC, in color you easily understand the context. I love to see different level of understanding and surprises in photos. I love your work.

Love the first shot :)

Great pics!!

It's a fantasy shot !
Just amazing .

the meaning behind the photo is different between color and black and white.
First I thought you'd made a photo of a tribal woman somewhere... then it all became clear.

I love 2nd photo.
Black line is beautiful.(about her shoulder and neck)

Oh, wow, PD, these are fabulous. Must wait to see the colour when we come back - Mr. Dot is getting very antsy to get to the Saatchi Gallery - but I've missed your blog, missed seeing the world thru your eyes.

I'll be back.. hope you're having a lovely Memorial Day. xo

I like these close-ups. They are also my favorite in the coloured series. She has a very significant look.

OMG! how amazing is this!?! Gorgeous!

Dude! these are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Hope you have a rad weekend!

Oh woooow!!!! wooow!! How beautiful it is the first picture??? I can't say it...just wow!!!

It does look very tribal. The black and white create an almost abstract, painting visual. Nice!

Great!

Look like a painting:-D!

When i read your inspiration, i first hopped over to the colored version and was blown away!
this is nuts as well.

i love this!!

the second pic is amazing...i love how the black on the neck looks in this shot
