Inspiration: Her name is Bliss Blood. A Brooklyn-based Chanteuse. In the dusk hours of Saturday evening, Bliss stood in a shady part of Union Square illuminated by the rays of a setting sun reflected off the shiny windows of a nearby building. The light was so bright and focused that it seemed artificial. By underexposing the shot significantly, I was able to capture a dark jazz club feel even though we were outdoors.

Wow, these photos are incredible. So shady, bleusy, jazzy feel to it. I think these are one of your BEST photos! (from what I've seen so far). The first photo especially, it's amazing, I'm really feeling her in the first one. I know lots of people may have said this, but you should really take your photos to a higher level (maybe exhibit?). Your photos get more and more professional each time.

I like the second picture with the focus (metaphorically, and really) on the ukulele rather than on her face. Unusual choice but it works.
