Inspiration: It's hard to believe that it was sunny and warm just a few days ago. My landlord, eager to believe in the arrival of Spring and definitely eager to save money, has already turned off the heat! And I am not good at using my fireplaces (I actually have two working fireplaces in my apartment, which is something of a big deal in New York). So, I am freezing right now. Oh sunny, warm climes, where art thou? I mean really? Where the hell art thou? It's supposed to be Spring around here!
P.S. Before I go stumbling off to bed (which is covered by about five layers of blankets), my blue fingernails must type one more thing: Easy Fashion. Check it out. If you like chic Parisian street-style mixed with great portraiture, then you will find nothing but brilliance in this blog, in my humble opinion.
P.P.S. It's Saturday morning. The sun is out and the heat is back on!

Glorious picture! Hope the sun returns soon for you ;) I have been enjoying 'Easy Fashion' for some time, and absolutely love the song playing in the background!

Incredible photo! This woman is beautiful... her dress looks so pretty and pure. And wearing it with these sneakers... so adorable! (I'm speaking as if this was a street style blog. haha) Your pictures are amazing.
I love your blog because it is so personal, you post pictures that really mean something and that have "a soul".

You poor thing. Don't you have a resident's association to deal with the landlord?
Don't despair, the sun will come out in due time but for now you gotta walk around your apartment like an eskimo.
I like the high top converse with the chiffon-like skirt combination on the lady. Good look.
You captured her at the right moment when she was really into bathing the rays of the sun.
Nice work.

Kiki - actually, there were only four :-). It's sunny this morning though.
Nyanzi: Nah - live in a town house. Great apt. and great LL, but he always turns the heat on too soon and off too early!
B - Easy Fashion is awesome, no? I just discovered Fred in February.

This photo captures the joy that the sun is giving the subject! I can feel the warmth that she is enjoying. Your photos are so genuinely experiential. They are a breath of fresh air. Thank you.

What a lovely shot! I can feel the sunshine on that woman's face. And the way the girl is looking at what I assume is her dad.. it's a really interesting composition.
You have two working fireplaces?? In NY??? People would kill their own family members for that. Glad the sun's come out. And your heat's back on.
