Reminds me my son ! Last year we went to mountains, and actually that's what you said. He wanted to walk on the snowyest and the iciest places...

I really like this pic! You could make a pictorial history of children playing in the snow, starting with Kertész, including Doisneau etc. until today & this pic! The same phenomenon goes on in every generation...
Thanks for your comment on my blog, too.

Great shot. I think not just the kids :) I really enjoy the snowy part... with a good pair of boots of course

I wish I found snow as much fun as this kid. It's a good shot!

Winter photos always amuse me. What a sensibility you have! Thanks to share your great vision about NY. It's almost I'm there. I love New York but I only stay there twice. So through your photos I can visit my favorite city everyday,

So true - I feel like I know the city!

Yes yes... seems so foreign to me now (I'll take the clean path please) but I haven't forgotten how purely joyful it was to play in the snow when younger. It was so... automatic, and simple pleasure. When did things change?

Jules - things changed when we bought really nice snow boots that we didn't want to touch the snow . . .
