New York: Washington Square Park
Inspiration: One of my favorite people to photograph is Joe Mangrum, an artist whose primary medium is sand. On Sunday, he worked in the rain to create this beautiful mandala. Each one is unique in color and design. My photos do not do justice to his work.

Oh I like this one. The circles and him leaning in. It makes one think of perfection.
Beautiful shot.

Quick question; does he know that you occasionally shoot him?
I can only imagine how beautiful his work looks in real time.

Thanks San!!
David: He does know that I shoot him. Lots of people do. He attracts huge crowds, especially in the summer time.
C: I do too.
