New York: 6th Avenue in front of Bryant Park
Inspiration: I know. Another photo from Bryant Park. And you're asking: "What about the rest of New York?" The thing is - I took a ton of photos during New York Fashion Week. So much so that the blog is sort of stuck in that moment in time and is seemingly becoming more about matters of style. Despite what you've been seeing from me lately, I don't intend to turn the blog solely into a visual discourse on style and fashion and soon you will see more every-day non-style photos not taken at Bryant Park. That said, my Bryant Park experience offered an interesting break from my usual work. It gave me an opportunity to observe, all in one spot, a number of fashionistas and sartorialists. And, more importantly, I was able to take more portraits - something l really enjoy doing. So back to more about guys and scarves. Lately, I am seeing more people take two scarves and work them into a nice warm bundle around their necks. I like the look, but I can barely handle one scarf (I wasn't graced with the longest neck in the world), much less two.

I think this 2 scarves phenomenon was started through the fashion blogs. Shows how much people are using blogs for inspiration now instead of magazines. I do so.
Fantastic shot. I really like his hat.

Actually I'm wearing 5 scarves. Very confortable.

I am sure I have seen two scarves (at least on women) in a few fashion magazines in the past. It's a cycle: an idea comes from the street, makes it into the blogs, the magazines, then comes back to the street, albeit in a different manner!
There are probably too many street-styles blogs at the moment. Interesting though the subject may be, it is far from being the only photography subject in the world! (I tend to gravitate towards the least interesting subjects: trashcans, boxes, mannequins, phonebooths...)
I look forward to seeing your other pictures.

Like the treatment on this photo. The white background does it good.

not sure about the scarves but the guy is cute with his hat and layers. Great portrait. And yes you have the right to shoot tons of photos when the subject is so obviously there for you!!!
