New York: Central Park/Harlem
Inspiration: "Only boys would do that" I thought to myself as I took this shot of some guys testing the strength of the ice in the pond. Maybe there are a few girls who would too, but not me. What if the ice cracked causing me to be devoured in a sea/pond of icy pain? The pond is probably not that deep, but why test it? I stood on the sidelines. So, we are back to wicked winter weather here in New York. I wore a t-shirt, sweater, jacket, coat and a scarf and I still felt cold.
Haha, actually I agree with you- only boys would do that!

Yeah, Only boys would do that and several other things which could never come into our minds (us girl's, or should I say, women?:D) anyway.. boys have that fantastic immagination when it comes to have fun and do crazy stuff, and that's why I really like to hang out with them sometimes, only with boys, I find it a really nice change...:D don't you?

now you're worrying me. will my boy who's 5 now turn out doing things like that? he'll probably be the one on the side, hum hum.... the cold is wicked, and taking pictures can be a little challenging.

Looking at this photo I think how my college student floridian daughter who doesn't like boots and heavy winter clothes, walking around Washinghton Square and her feet are cold. Does she wear all those things you mentioned? Probably not.
